Program Description

The goal of this program is to teach executives to think like an entrepreneur, and more importantly, to learn how to adopt the strategy of the 5 minute investor pitch and deploy the techniques to a range of sales situations. A buyer's receptivity to the team and to the proposal is generally created in the first five minutes of the presentation. The vast majority of presentations waste that critical time and, thereby, lose the selling advantage -- a lesson learned by every startup which has only five minutes to convince an investor to choose her or his company over ten others. The rigor of the 5 minute approach focuses the sales presentation and forces the discipline of identifying the critically important components -- separating "the need to have" from "the nice to have." The program covers all the associated opportunities and risks of leveraging emerging technologies like GenAI, providing participants with the working knowledge of when and how to effectively use these in the selling environment.

Format

Available for in-person and virtual sessions, format options are:

  • Full day session (6 hours)

  • Half day session (3 hours )

  • 60-90 minute session (virtual only)

  • Workshop (6 hours, offered after full or half day session is complete)

  • Executive track - VP/ EVP level or above

  • Fast Track - highly promotable/ leadership potential (senior, mid-level executive, client facing executives who write proposals and/or gives in person and virtual presentations in a competitive environment)
